It's been a long time to get it to where it is now and it still has a ways to go but, it's getting a lot of use. I even poured the floor in this building. The only thing I paid out to a contractor was the garage door. Yes, some of that use is as a garage. I have to try to keep it versatile so if we have to, we can work on a car. I want it to be almost exclusively a woodworking shop though I can't limit it completely. I'm even thinking of putting a wood floor over the concrete. I read the benefits in the magazine you gave me and may go that way. The outside dimensions are; 25' x 30' It could really become an awesome Woodworking shop. That's why I have been asking for input, I worked a lot of spare time to get it here and I want to do it right. Someday I may get to retire and spend some time living the dream. Have a great day Jack.  less

Jack Keach I have a real nice Porter Cable drill in the basement with two dead batteries.  Replacement batteries would cost more than I paid for the drill, two batteries, charger and case.  I hate to toss the drill.  Anyone have thoughts on this?

  • David Olbrys As you may know I want to send in two of the mugs I had made to Channel 10. I looked into what was involved in submitting to WJAR 10's Coffee Cup Salute. When I realized it had to be sent in ten weeks in advance I figured it best to just get it in and hope you all like it. The following is the paragraph I submitted tonight.   The woodworkers Guild of Rhode Island meets 7:00 to 9:00 PM. on the first Wednesday of every month except July, at the, North Scituate Community House on West Greenville Road. President John Petela, says, the Christmas Party alone is worth the yearly dues. Each month features demonstration and or examples of woodworking from local and not so local artists. This year, The Scituate Art Fest is October 8th, 9th, and 10th The Guild will have demonstrations and opportunities for visitors to talk with fellow woodworking enthusiasts. Please stop by and say hello!
